It’s the dream of every young girl to hear from Princess Anna or Queen Elsa from Disney’s Frozen, and for one special girl named Avery, her wish came true.

Avery is a 6-year-old who recently learned she has an inoperable brain tumor. Like most young girls, Avery is a huge fan of Frozen. Her favorite character in the film, according to a blog post on her CaringBridge.com page, is Princess Anna.

As luck would have it, Avery’s father has a connection to Kristen Bell, the actress who voices Princess Anna in the Disney animated hit Frozen. After hearing Avery’s story, Kristen left a special voicemail for Avery in which she is in character as Anna. The actress shares the news that Queen Elsa has made Avery an honorary princess in Arendelle.

Brandon, Avery’s father, recorded his daughter as she listened to the voicemail for the first time. You can see her face light up every time Anna tells her something special:

“Avery couldn’t stop talking about it and was so excited to have her sisters and brother hear it,” Brandon wrote on his daughter’s CaringBridge blog. That same day, Avery also received a Frozen backpack full of merchandise from the same friend who put the family in touch with Kristen.

Congratulations to Avery for becoming an honorary princess in Arendelle!
