It’s a day that ends in the letter “y,” so J.K. Rowling is adding to Harry Potter canon on Twitter.
In today’s tweet, Rowling revealed that Black family House Elf Kreacher died at age 666.

She might be kidding… she got into a spat with an angry Twitter user earlier in the day and age “666” came up.

But you know what? This isn’t a game, Jo. We take the deaths of Harry Potter characters seriously. The age he died at is now going to appear at the Harry Potter Wiki and a billion other places, so this better be true.
RIP Kreacher. You were a good guy deep down… maybe.
