With just over a month before its release, Konami has announced that the new Metal Gear HD remake will also have a Limited Edition for those who pre-order before the game’s release.

Hideo Kojima is well known for tending to his fans. Whether it be releasing new content in Metal Gear remakes, putting clever, 4th-wall-breaking boss fights in his games for our amusement, or adding countless Easter eggs into the four installments of the series, Kojima’s humor and love for exclusive content has been feeding Metal Gear fans for over ten years. The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is no different.

Konami has announced that the Metal Gear Solid HD remake, which is to be released November 8th, is also going to have a pre-orderable Limited Edition. The Limited Edition will include a 248 page art book, filled with the Metal Gear art team’s distinct sketches, concept art, and paintings. It will also have a unique casing, created and drawn by Yoji Shinkawa, the series’ lead artist.

The game will include Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, which had originally been a PSP exclusive title. And, because of the Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence edition, you will also receive the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear: Solid Snake. Both editions of the game are to be released on PS3 and Xbox360, and will cost $79.99, while the regular edition will be $49.99.
