Kingsman: The Secret Service’s sequel is reportedly looking to add X-Men: Days of Future Past actress Halle Berry to their stellar cast.

Kingsman: The Secret Service was an incredible film, and something no one saw coming from X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn. The film’s sequel was given a greenlight quickly after the first film took in $414 million worldwide on a budget of just $80 million.

Vaughn will be directing the sequel, which Deadline reports is currently in negotiations with Halle Berry to play the head of the CIA in the sequel. The report suggests that the actress is looking at a two-picture deal, which would mean Kingsman may end up being a trilogy.

Actor Taron Egerton was the star of Kingsman, which jump-started his career, but it featured some badass ladies, including actress Sofia Boutella, who has been cast as the female lead in Star Trek Beyond.

Halle Berry may be best known for her role in director Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men movies as the mutant Storm, who ended up being the head of Professor X’s school after he was killed in X-Men: The Last Stand. She’s had a few roles in the last couple years, but bringing her into this franchise sounds like a solid idea.

Berry would be a great addition to the sequel’s cast, and we think she’d play the hell out of the head of the CIA, who we assume will be working with the Kingsman in an attempt to bring down a nefarious foe in the upcoming sequel.

Previous reports have stated that Julianne Moore will also be in the sequel, which means this movie’s cast is shaping up nicely. Kingsman 2 will be released in theaters on June 16, 2017, and we’ll definitely be on the look-out for some casting confirmations.
