The latest Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer revealed more of Sora’s exciting adventures to come in San Fransokyo.

The Big Hero 6 characters in this Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer all look remarkably like their big screen counterparts, and I couldn’t be any more excited. As a major fan of the 2014 Marvel film, I can rest easy knowing that Disney is going to extra measures to ensure that fans are getting faithful tellings of their favorite movies.

Rapunzel and Flynn of Tangled also make a quick appearance, but it seems like both the Japanese and English voice actor has not been revealed yet for Rapunzel.

Funnily enough, Mandy Moore, the voice of Rapunzel in the movie, played Final Fantasy VII‘s Aerith in 2002’s Kingdom Hearts, but she was replaced by Mena Suvari in Kingdom Hearts 2. Both Moore and Zachary Levi, who is the voice of Flynn, returned for the Disney Channel show Tangled: The Series, but apparently, Levi hasn’t been asked yet to work on Kingdom Hearts 3.

But I digress. All of the Big Hero 6 members make a brief appearance in this Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer, and every detail seems to be in order with their costumes and animation. While the entire trailer is in Japanese, Square Enix provided English subtitles, as they usually do with all of their first-release Kingdom Hearts 3 trailers.

Vanitas is back and causing mayhem. It seems like all of the original series characters from every game are going to at the very least make an appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3, as even Roxas got a brief reveal in this trailer.

The final shot of “‘Norted” Aqua was enough to send any fan into a frenzy of chills. Sora, Donald, Goofy, Riku, and The King all seem ready and willing to save her soul and defeat Young Master Xehanort in the next great Keyblade War.

Kingdom Hearts 3 releases for the PS4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2019.
