Matthew Vaughn and Mark Millar co-created the Kick-Ass film and graphic novel respectively, both of which received critical acclaim for their satirical take on the superhero genre. Now, the two are collaborating again on a new spy project!

The Secret Service is currently being developed as both a film and graphic novel, by X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn and Wanted author Mark Millar. The project has been described as “James Bond meets My Fair Lady,” and tells the story of a London rioter who is trained to become a superspy.

The first issue of The Secret Service is due out in comic book stores tomorrow, and Vaughn is reportedly halfway through the screenplay. If you are interested in the comic book itself, you can view a preview on The Hollywood Reporter website.

Are you looking forward to the film on premise alone? Do you think it will be anything like Kick-Ass?
