The first trailer for Here Comes the Boom, Kevin James’ mixed-martial arts movie, has been released. The recipe: one part desperately unfunny, one part insulting, one part bumbling idiot falls over.
In case you couldn’t figure out just how generic this movie is, here’s the synopsis:
A high school biology teacher moonlights as a mixed-martial arts fighter in an effort to raise money to save the school’s music program.

Not like we’re keeping count here, but Kevin James falls over – count ’em – nine times in that two minute trailer. Can you guess what kind of jokes the folks over at Happy Madison have coming our way in this one?
Anyway, this is just one cynic’s thoughts on the film. Do you have any hope for Here Comes the Boom?
