Pop artist Kesha was physically and sexually assaulted by music producer Dr. Luke, according to a lawsuit filed by the musician.

TMZ has obtained a lawsuit filed by Kesha in which the singer wishes to be released from her contract following ten years of assault. In order to conduct the abuse, Kesha says Dr. Luke would “force her to use drugs and alcohol to remove her defenses,” according to TMZ.

“Kesha claims he forced her to snort something before getting on a plane … and during the trip he forced himself on her while she was drugged,” the report states.

“On another occasion, Kesha claims after forcing her to drink with him, Dr. Luke gave her what he called ‘sober pills.’ Kesha claims she woke up the following afternoon, naked in Dr. Luke’s bed, sore, sick … and with no memory of how she got there.”

Kesha’s lawyer commented on the lawsuit to TMZ, saying that his client needs to be released from her contract in order to move on with her life and career free from abuse. “The facts presented in our lawsuit paint a picture of a man who is controlling and willing to commit horrible acts of abuse in an attempt to intimidate an impressionable, talented, young female artist into submission for his personal gain,” he said.

Kesha alleges that the abuse is what led her to suffer from an eating disorder, which she entered a 30-day rehab program for in January. After entering rehab, Kesha’s mother alleged that it was Dr. Luke who was to blame for the eating disorder because he pressured Kesha to lose weight.

Following her rehab program, Kesha began working on her third studio album, though the current status of the project is unknown.

In addition to Kesha, Dr. Luke has worked on music with Katy Perry, Jessie J, Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus, Pink, and many others.
