Kesha highlights her singing voice in her new single, “Die Young.”

Having teased the song in whistled form and from a Tokyo subway, Kesha officially released “Die Young” Tuesday, as the lead single off her upcoming second studio album, Warrior.

Co-written by Fun.’s Nate Ruess and produced by Dr. Luke, “Die Young” takes the synth down a notch from Kesha’s previous hits, but it’s not doubt still a party song.

“I hear your he-a-art beat to the beat of the drums. Oh what a shame that you came here with someone. While you’re here in my arms, let’s make the most of the night like we’re gonna die young,” Kesha sings in the chorus.

“Young hearts. Out our minds. Runnin’ till we outta time. Wild childs looking good, living hard just like we should. Don’t care who’s watching when we tearing it up. That magic that we have nobody can touch,” she sings/raps.

Kesha told Rolling Stone in July that she wanted to showcase her voice more in the new album.

“Some people weren’t sure if I could sing,” Kesha told Rolling Stone. “On this record, I said ‘Let’s leave the tricks to a minimum and let me wail.’”

Warrior, Kesha’s first new full-length album since 2010’s Animal, drops Dec. 4.

Animal produced hits in “Tik Tok” and “Your Love Is My Drug” and peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
