Star Wars vet Kelly Marie Tran is heading to Hulu!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Kelly Marie Tran (best known for portraying Rose Tico in the Star Wars saga) has officially joined the cast of Hulu’s Monsterland.

The series has been in production over at the online streaming service since last year when Hulu gave Monsterland the green light for eight one-hour episodes.

Based on a collection of stories by Nathan Ballingrud, the Hulu anthology series focuses on broken people who go to great lengths in an attempt to repair their lives. The series has a bit of a fantastical element to it as well given that it’s set in a world inhabited by fantasy creatures ranging from mermaids and werewolves, to fallen angels.

Kelly Marie Tran fans can catch the The Last Jedi vet starring in a forthcoming episode entitled “Iron River, MI.”

In the episode, Tran will play Lauren— a woman who has just returned to her small hometown of Iron River, Michigan to get married. She’s managed to build a new life for herself after her best friend, Elena, went missing when they were 16.

Other previously announced cast members set to take part in the anthology series include Kaitlyn Dever (Booksmart), Taylor Schilling (Orange is the New Black), and Mike Colter (Luke Cage).

Behind the camera, Mary Laws (whose previous credits include HBO’s Succession and AMC’s Preacher) wi8ll serve as writer and executive producer.

Currently, there’s no word yet on when we can expect Monsterland to premiere via Hulu.
