Electro-pop/rap duo, Karmin released a brand new single this morning called “Acapella” which will be featured on the duo’s forthcoming album.

Singer/rapper Amy Heidemann spoke with Rolling Stone about the creative process behind the group’s new single, revealing that the new track “was created almost exclusively with human voices.”

Karmin’s “Acapella” has a more aggressive beat than last summer’s runaway hit, “Brokenhearted,” but brings all of Heidemann and fellow band member, Nick Noonan’s unique blend of electro-pop and rap that fans of the band are sure to enjoy.

Los Angeles-based band Grouplove has released the follow up single to their well received 2011 hit, “Tongue Tied.”

The band’s latest single, “Ways To Go,” is the first track off their upcoming album, Spreading Rumors, set to be released on September 17.
For their new single, Grouplove broke away from the catchy big-band folk feel of their first hit single, “Tongue Tied.”

Instead, “Ways To Go,” keeps it simple with a stripped down guitar riff and drum beat but picks up tempo with an added synth beat when the chorus kicks in.
