With two weeks to go before the release of her concert movie, Part of Me, Katy Perry is gracing the cover of The Hollywood Reporter and opening up about her short-lived marriage to British actor and comedian Russell Brand, funding her own concert movie and plans to create her own record label

“There were times when what was going on in my personal life was so overwhelming that I had to bend over to let those tears fall straight out of my eyes and not my false lashes just as I’m about to go up on that ramp and sing ‘Teenage Dream,’” she told THR, contrasting her private life with her public persona during her Candyland-themed Teenage Dream tour.
