Can you feel the hype?! San Diego Comic-Con begins this evening, and ahead of Mockingjay, Part 2’s panel Lionsgate is suggesting that something epic is on the horizon.

A newly-launched Snapchat account for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 includes an interesting video depicting Katniss standing on a giant hand making the iconic three-finger salute. The Girl on Fire is wearing a cape and wielding her bow and arrow. You can watch the video in HD below:
She looks like Thor, doesn’t she? The presence of the cape is interesting — we wonder if it’s a subtle reference to Comic-Con, a place where there will be a lot of capes (and super heroes in general) walking around in San Diego this week.
This also reminds us of the Catching Fire poster from a couple years ago:
A final snap in the Mockingjay, Part 2 story asks Snapchat users to “stay tuned for a message from District 13.” Presumably something else will be appearing on Snapchat, so add “MockingjayPart2” to your app now!
While we’re waiting for more news, be sure to take a Snap of yourself and swipe to the right to load up a new Mockingjay-related “Unite” filter. The District number on the filter changes depending on where you are in the United States:

We suspect this is all related to the Mockingjay, Part 2 panel taking place at Comic-Con tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon. Between the gorgeous new posters on Monday and this special Snapchat story today, it feels like something big is coming. What could it be? A new trailer? A message from President Coin or Katniss? Stay tuned!
