J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts has found its second cast member in Katherine Waterston.

Update: The Queen has spoken:

The actress will play Tina — Newt Scamander’s wife — in the upcoming Potter series spinoff. As previously announced, Eddie Redmayne will star as Newt.

According to a description from Warner Bros., Tina is an American witch who “meets magizoologist Newt Scamander (Redmayne) when he stops in New York City on his travels to find and document magical creatures.”

“Katherine Waterston is a rising star, who was a revelation in our film Inherent Vice, earning the praise of both critics and audiences. We are thrilled to have her back in the Warner Bros. family, especially in one of our most anticipated titles for 2016, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” said WB head Greg Silverman.

This is the first time we’re hearing that Newt will be meeting his wife-to-be in the film. Prior to today we knew that an actress for Tina was being sought, but we did not know whether or not the two characters would already be married at the start of the story.

Will Tina be the reason Newt wants to extend his visit in New York City? Rowling previously said that Newt’s trip to the Big Apple was only to be a short stay — until something kept him there longer. “Newt Scamander only meant to stay in New York for a few hours,” Rowling teased in October.

We learned last month that there are four leads: Newt, Tina, Queenie (Tina’s sister), and Jacob (rumored to be Newt’s rival).

Fantastic Beasts hits theaters November 2016, and filming will begin later this summer.
