Justin Timberlake has revealed himself to be the headline artist performing at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2018. No Janet this time.

Fourteen years after his last, much-discussed halftime show performance with Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake is back for Super Bowl 2018.

The game takes place on February 4, 2018, and is officially Super Bowl LII.

Timberlake’s announcement came Sunday via Twitter, in a video he created with late night host Jimmy Fallon:

This is Timberlake’s third Super Bowl performance: in 2001 he appeared as part of N*Sync along with Britney Spears and Aerosmith, and in 2004 he and Janet Jackson coined the term “wardrobe malfunction” during their performance of “Rock Your Body.”
