For most lyric videos we see, the singer usually does not feature in the video. Justin Timberlake is special, though, and in his “Suit & Tie” lyric video the former boy band star keeps busy getting ready for a music recording.

While lyrics for his first single in years float onto screen, Timberlake appears to be recording a song on video. He can’t seem to sit still though. He ends up meeting a girl who loves his bowtie.

Although Jay-Z has a rap in the song, he does not appear in the video.

At the end of the video there’s a quick plug for his forthcoming album The 20/20 Experience, dropping on March 19. Beyonce, who performed at President Obama’s Inauguration ceremony over the weekend and will helm the Super Bowl Halftime Show next month, is rumored to feature on the album.

Are you happy to see Timberlake back performing R&B and getting his fellow music superstars to contribute? You can see him live on DirecTV during DIRECTV Super Saturday Night on Sunday, February 2 (the night before the Super Bowl). We’ll bet a lot of money he’ll be performing “Suit & Tie.” It’ll be the beginning of his massive media tour promoting this new single and album.
