The internet is abuzz today with some interesting tweets from Justin Timberlake and others regarding the possibility of new music from him, Jay-Z and Beyonce!

UPDATE: Timberlake has issued an announcement in which he says he’s “ready” to create new music. Watch his video.

And it could be happening very soon!

Just around midnight last night (January 10th) Justin tweeted the following, alluding to a big announcement:

This tweet doesn’t specifically say anything other than that we should expect something from Justin at 9:01am PST. However, after some clever digging by excited fans, all signs point to a new song with Justin, Jay-Z and Beyonce.

Yesterday, producer Carl Paul tweeted that he had just worked with the trio on a new song:

“MADE A MOVIE WIT THE LEGEND TIMBALAND GOT SUM HEAT COMIN SOON BEYONCE, JAY-Z, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE IM WORKIN #HowBoutU”

The tweet included the picture of him with Timbaland, presumably in the studio, lending credit to the idea of the collaboration.

Curiously, when we went to Carl Paul’s Twitter to embed the tweet and cross reference the source, we noticed that the account @CarlPaul00 no longer exists. Luckily, ONTD managed to grab a screen shot before the account disappeared. Maybe someone got in some heat for revealing details too early?

If that weren’t enough, music producer Charlamagne tweeted (from his verified account) that a “new record” is coming from the three superstars Monday:

With Timberlake tweeting about an announcement later today and Charlamagne tweeting about Monday, we’re assuming that the announcement about the record (title and collaboration) will be made by Timberlake today, with the actual record hitting radio on Monday. Odds are the record will be made available for download on Tuesday.

Will a new collaboration with Beyonce and Jay-Z mark Justin Timberlake’s return to the music scene? His last record, “FutureSex/LoveSounds” was released in 2006 to huge praise from both critics and fans. It’s a long-running conversation with fans of Justin’s to wonder when he will stop making movies and return to the music studio. With his highly publicized re-launch of MySpace.com, we can only assume that Justin is getting back to work and will be back to doing what he does best: making music.

Also, with Beyonce headlining the Super Bowl half time show this year, could this be a setup for a big performance with her, Justin and Jay-Z? Justin already performed at the Super Bowl with NSYNC once with Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige and Aerosmith, as well as solo during the controversial performance with Janet Jackson. Maybe third time’s the charm?
