Rejoice, everyone, because Justin Timberlake is back with new music!

It seems like ages since Timberlake released his 2013 two-part album, The 20/20 Experience. But finally, after teasing us with the album art and a short video promoting the album, we’ve finally got our first single.

Justin Timberlake to headline Super Bowl 2018 halftime show

The song, “Filthy,” is available on iTunes, and already has a pretty rad music video. Timberlake gives off some serious Steve Jobs vibes in the video (complete with a dark turtle neck and glasses), playing a tech giant presenting a robot to the Pan-Asian Deep Learning Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in the year 2028. The robot, following Timberlake’s off-stage dance moves, proves to be quite the dancer, among other things.

Check out the music video, and be sure to remember the instructions Timberlake gave us all on his Instagram. This is a song that should be played very loud.

Timberlake’s new album, Man of the Woods, is set to release on February 2. While “Filthy” seems to fall squarely in line with the pop/funk vibe we’ve all come to love in a Justin Timberlake song, he has explained that the album was largely inspired by his wife and son.

Man of the Woods features contributions from the likes of artists like Chris Stapleton and Alicia Keys, so we’ll have to wait to see how his sound has evolved this time around.

To get us all pumped about the release of the album, Timberlake will be releasing three other videos in the weeks leading up to the Man of the Woods release, starting the week of January 18. With a new album and a performance at the Super Bowl Half Time Show only a few days later, this year is going to be a big one for Timberlake.

We can’t wait to see what other music Justin Timberlake has in store for us with his new album!

What do you think of ‘Filthy’?
