Universal released the new Jurassic World trailer two days earlier than expected!

Despite the fact that Jurassic World’s first trailer wasn’t set to be released until Thursday, the studio has released the incredibly exciting trailer today. It shows some great looks at multiple dinosaurs, including an insane scene involving a great white shark that you’ll love. Watch the first trailer below:

The first trailer starts off by introducing us to our new human characters, and then quickly goes into showing the park full of visitors. This sets the film up to be incredibly devastating, due to the fact that there could be more people involved in the dinosaur destruction.

Jurassic World looks like it will be epic in every way, and it also has this feeling like we’re actually in a theme park, and things go terribly wrong. With the other Jurassic Park films, this wasn’t possible because there were never masses of people inside the parks. Now it’s completely full, open, and it should make for a huge disaster movie with some incredible actors.

Jurassic World will be hitting theaters on June 12, 2015, so it’s great to see some footage before the year closes.

Starring alongside Pratt and Howard in Jurassic World are Jake Johnson, Judy Greer, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Katie McGrath, Vincent D’Onofrio, Lauren Lapkus, Omar Sy, and Jurassic Park vet BD Wong.

Jurassic World was originally written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, but Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly took over screenwriting duties when Trevorrow signed on to direct. We’re big fans of Trevorrow’s first film Safety Not Guaranteed that he wrote with Connolly, so we’re very hopeful about Jurassic World.
