One of the highlights of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (other than, you know, all of it) was the return of Jeff Goldblum’s Ian Malcolm. If you were beside yourself with glee for his cameo, just know you’re not the only one. Bryce Dallas Howard, who plays Claire in the reboot, may have even confessed as much to the man himself.

Director J.A. Bayona and writer Colin Trevorrow also joined the movie’s stars in gushing over Goldblum. After some tongue-in-cheek ribbing about Jeff’s piano playing, they jumped straight into the most important question of the century: Whose idea was it to have Goldblum pose with his shirt open in the original Jurassic Park movie?
Jeff might not have an answer for us, but it hardly matters. That scene is an iconic piece of cinematic history, and we all wouldn’t have it any other way — except for maybe Goldblum himself, who’s obvious blushing is kind of adorable.
