What better way to celebrate a whopping quarter of a century since Jurassic Park hit the big screen than by returning to the theater to see it again?

Fathom Events is bringing the original Jurassic Park to 500 theaters across the United States in mid-September in honor of the film’s 25th anniversary.

The movie will be showing Sunday, September 16, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (local time), at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, and Wednesday, September 19. Tickets can be found on FathomEvents.com.

According to a press release, the showings will “be accompanied by a 17-minute ‘remake’ of the movie created by fans around the world, who showcase both their passion for the prehistoric adventure and their boundless ingenuity, making this event a celebration both of the film and its legion of fans.”

The timing couldn’t be any more perfect. In addition to that special anniversary, the movie will arrive at the same time as Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom makes its home entertainment debut. It arrives digitally September 4, and on Blu-ray/DVD September 18.

Watching the original JP might be a good palate cleanser if you choose to watch Fallen Kingdom again. The latter was… not the best.

If that nostalgia isn’t enough for you, literally every Marvel movie is returning to theaters beginning at the end of August to celebrate 10 years of the MCU.
