Jungle Cruise just released its first trailer, and even though it’s just over two minutes, it’s packed with fun and heart-pounding adventure.

Disney’s Jungle Cruise is a flick we’ve all been pretty excited about for a while now, even though there wasn’t a ton of news about the movie itself. Thankfully, Disney has answered our prayers to the movie gods and we finally have our first full trailer for the movie.

Clocking in at just over two minutes, this trailer does a great job of capturing the adventure we can expect in this movie without giving away the entire plot (a rare feat these days, it seems). We see the film’s stars, Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson in action, and they’ve got pretty spectacular chemistry together in addition to their general skills at kicking ass. If you weren’t sure how you felt about Jungle Cruise, this trailer will definitely get you excited for this movie.

Like Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise was inspired by a ride at Disneyland. Though we don’t have a ton of details surrounding the plot of the movie, we know Dwayne Johnson plays a charismatic boat captain taking Emily Blunt’s character down a jungle river for a research mission.

Disney also released a new poster for the movie, and it’s fantastic. It’s got a great vintage feel to it, and it manages to capture the fun and adventure we see in the trailer.

While the stories are certainly quite different, the Jungle Cruise trailer gave off some serious Mummy vibes. You know, the original Mummy with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz. The time period the movie is set in, the fun air of adventure, the exploration into ancient legends, and the main characters with great chemistry seems to recapture some of the magic we all love from that movie.

We are so excited to see more from Jungle Cruise. Judging by this new trailer, it’s going to be a ton of fun for the entire family.

The only bad news? We have to wait a bit for this one! Jungle Cruise lands in movie theaters everywhere on July 24, 2020.
