The first clip for Disney’s The Jungle Book gives us an exciting look at Idris Elba’s Shere Khan, the tiger in Disney’s upcoming adaptation.

The Jungle Book has one of the most star-studded casts in years, and while their recognizable faces won’t ever be seen on the big screen, they’ll be voicing some beautiful animals featured in these recent images. Disney has released the first clip from the movie, and it’s a great first look at the proud tiger.

Hearing Elba voice the tiger is very interesting, as it may take some time to not see the actor’s face as he speaks for the beautifully animated animal character. He seems like he doesn’t like the fact that a human is in his jungle.

The Jungle Book’s release date is set for April 15, 2016. The film introduces actor Neel Sethi as the main character, Mowgli, and includes an astonishing group of actors voicing the roles of the animals.

The Jungle Book’s official synopsis reads, “Directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man), based on Rudyard Kipling’s timeless stories and inspired by Disney’s classic animated film, The Jungle Book is an all-new live-action epic adventure about Mowgli (newcomer Neel Sethi), a man-cub who’s been raised by a family of wolves. But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (voice of Idris Elba), who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat.”
