Staff picks
Mitchel: I’m all about Animal Crossing. Most iterations may seem similar to the outsider, but additions like new tools and clothing is oddly exciting to Crossing enthusiasts like myself. I’m very interested in the art style of Remember Me, so I may be picking up that one too to see how its gameplay matches up to its visuals.
Anna: I’m looking forward to seeing the reaction to Remember Me – it’s got an interesting setting, and a main character who isn’t a generic buff white guy. I’ll definitely consider picking it up once it releases next week. Whilst I’m not a fan of the horror/survival genre, The Last of Us is another title I’ll be looking to get. After picking up a slew of awards at last year’s E3, plus the ridiculous amount of hype it’s getting, it’s hard to overlook.
