I don’t know what we were expecting from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, but this trailer is definitely not it. And that’s not a bad thing.
This is a far cry from the very intense film we all know as Jumanji, but it may be the best way to revisit Jumanji for an all new generation. I never expected to want to see this movie, but this trailer? It has me interested.

I don’t know what I expected this movie to be like, but this trailer is nothing like I imagined. So, the board game from Jumanji is now a video game? Are these movies related at all? Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is a far cry from the serious, creepy vibe of the original movie.
I think I’m most interested to learn how the video game is attached to the board game. How are these two seemingly disparate worlds related? Only time, and more trailers, will tell, and I will definitely be ready and waiting.
