Watch The Avengers‘ director Joss Whedon discuss the helicarrier design featured on the film’s Blu-ray special features disc.

We’ve been getting The Avengers Blu-ray featurettes on a daily basis this week, with the raw fight sequence footage that was released yesterday, and the featurette focusing on The Hulk and Captain America the day before. Now we have the director himself, discussing the design of The Avengers‘ helicarrier which impressed so many at the theaters.

In case you missed it, there will be a 90 minute featurette included on The Avengers Blu-ray called “Building a Cinematic Universe,” you can catch a sneak peek we posted earlier this week.

The Avengers Blu-ray/DVD hits theaters September 25.
