Speaking at a junket for his new film Detention, the actor who plays Peeta in The Hunger Games spoke out about the recent Gary Ross/Catching Fire drama.
In short, Josh Hutcherson insisted that Ross is the only one in his mind who can direct the Hunger Games sequel. From Heat Vision:
When asked who should take over directing duties for Catching Fire, Hutcherson answered diplomatically: “I think Gary’s the man. Gary is in my mind is the only one that could ever direct the second one. That’s what I’m sticking to.”
On Monday, Ross reportedly had a meeting to negotiate his potential Catching Fire deal.
