Curious about the future of Kit Harington and Jon Snow on Game of Thrones? New photos probably provide an answer.

Is Jon Snow dead or alive? It’s the question we’ve all been wondering since watching the Game of Thrones season 5 finale in April. Fans don’t have a definitive answer because Jon also died at the end of the most recent A Song of Ice and Fire book by George R.R. Martin.

Since the television series has finally caught up with the books, all fans are now equally in the dark about where this story is headed.

Now we must all look to set photos for answers. Because this is the internet and we live in a world with iPhones, it’s simply impossible for an actor like Kit Harington to move around the world without being noticed by fans.

Case and point: These new photos of Harington arriving in Belfast last night with his man-bun in tact all but officially confirm that Jon Snow is not dead. Belfast is the location of the Game of Thrones sets, and according to Watchers on the Wall, Harington has dropped in numerous times over the past few weeks in preparation for season 6 filming.

It’s always possible Harington is visiting because they need new shots of Jon Snow’s dead body, but as Watchers on the Wall points out, Harington has showed up in Belfast too many times for this to be a small shoot.

Maybe he keeps visiting because he misses his Thrones friends? Nah. Jon Snow is alive.

Watchers on the Wall adds that Harington has been refusing to take pictures with fans in Belfast during his recent trips (Likely so he can keep his presence there a “secret”). We wonder how frustrating it is for Harington to continue “trying” to hide his character’s fate? At this point it’s just a really badly kept secret that Jon Snow survived that attack during the Game of Thrones season 5 finale.

He must be so excited for the season 6 premiere in April.
