Iron Man‘s Jon Favreau will be dipping his hand into comedy for the final season of The Office.

TVLine.com is reporting that the Iron Man director will be directing one of the final episodes of The Office as it wraps its ninth and final season. However, TVLine is also mentioning that there is no word on which episodes or how many Favreau will be directing.

This isn’t the first time that Favreau has entered the world of comedy and comedy writing. His previous credits include directing Elf, an episode of the Judd Apatow comedy Undeclared as well as episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Favreau was also part of the pilot for NBC’s show Revolution which he directed and served as executive producer, in addition to Iron Man, Iron Man 2 and Cowboys and Aliens.

It was recently announced that The Farm, the spinoff featuring Dwight Schrute, would not be picked up by NBC. However, the episode of The Office titled “The Farm” which was to set up Dwight’s spinoff will continue as scheduled to air later this year.
