With a week left until the highly anticipated Doctor Who 50th anniversary, we thought it was a great idea to put on a live-watch party for those of you who will be watching from home!
We’ve had live watch parties for The Hunger Games and Perks of Being a Wallflower, and now it’s time for Doctor Who! Join us on November 23 as we gather an hour before the worldwide simulcast, during the special, as well as after for a Google Hangout with the hosts of WhoHype, Hypable’s very own Doctor Who podcast.
What is happening, exactly?
We’re glad you asked! Well….we’re glad we asked for you. On Saturday, November 23 at 10:30 AM PST/1:30 PM EST/6:30 PM GST we will gather right here at Hypable.com to chat with other Whovians while we wait for the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who to air on our televisions!
There will be a brand new article at that time with a chatroom which you can join and use to chat with other Hypable readers as well as Hypable staff! We’ll be chatting an hour and twenty minutes before it airs, and while it’s on we’ll still be there so you can type in your reactions like “OMFG” or “mattsmithiwantyou” or “I ship Televen!”
Directly afterwards, the hosts of WhoHype will be hosting a live Google Hangout to discuss the episode in depth, along with favorite and least favorite moments, and you can chime into the discussing via chatroom, Twitter, or YouTube!
