Schools may be closed for the rest of the year, but that didn’t stop John Krasinski from hosting a Senior prom with Billie Eilish and The Jonas Brothers.

The John Krasinski YouTube webseries, Some Good News, continued to live up to its name by hosting the virtual prom this last weekend for all the 2020 seniors who were unable to attend their own prom due to school closures caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The Quiet Place actor and director even got all dressed up for the occasion, wearing a tux as he recruited some of the most famous musical acts to kick off the party.

During the course of the virtual prom episode, John Krasinski held another mini The Office reunion when he invited Rainn Wilson for a dance party, was briefly joined by Chance the Rapper, and hosted performances from Billie Eilish and the Jonas Brothers.

Some Good News first came together a few weeks ago on Twitter, where John Krasinski put out a call for any stories that have made people feel good this week or any things that have just made them smile.

Twitter responded to that call, compiling all the best feel-good stories and uplifting news items.

The show debuted during the last week of March, with John Krasinski giving fans a 15 minute dose of good news to lift their spirits and featuring the first mini reunion of The Office, as Krasinski called Steve Carell halfway through the episode to reminisce about their time together on the iconic mockumentary show.

The following episode featured a Hamilton cast reunion on Zoom, and saw John Krasinski and his wife Emily Blunt gift a young Hamilton fan tickets to the show whenever it opened back up.
