The author and crew of The Fault in Our Stars will appear at an exciting panel at the first-ever BookCon in New York City.

Fans who can’t wait for more news on The Fault in Our Stars film adaptation are in luck. It was announced today that John Green, author of the best-selling young adult novel, will discuss the highly-anticipated film adaptation at the inaugural BookCon in New York City this May.

Appearing along with Green will be several individuals who were instrumental in the production of The Fault in Our Stars film. Director Josh Boone and screenwriters Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber will also join the panel, as will Fox 2000 Pictures president Elizabeth Gabler and producer Wyck Godfrey. The exciting panel will be moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s senior writer, Sara Vilkomerson.

In addition to the notable guests and discussion, which will “open a window into the creative efforts” behind the film, the panel promises to debut brand-new footage from The Fault in Our Stars.

On the announcement, Green said, “I’m so excited to be reunited at BookCon with the talented team that is bringing The Fault in Our Stars to the big screen.” He expressed his excitement for BookCon, a brand-new literary convention adjacent to the massive industry trade show, Book Expo America.

“BookCon is the place for fans of the written word to gather and celebrate their favorite stories,” Green said, “It’s a thrill to be part of this event.”

Both BookCon and the Fault in Our Stars panel will be held on May 31 in Manhattan’s behemoth Javits Center. The film adaptation of The Fault in Our Stars will hit theaters on June 6.
