A web series adaptation of Game of Thrones set in a modern high school will star Starkid’s Joey Richter and The Lizzie Bennet Diaries‘ Mary Kate Wiles.

That’s right – there’s another adaptation coming to YouTube and it is of Game of Thrones. The web series, titled School of Thrones is being described by producer and YouTube star Whitney Milam as “a comedic web series premiering on YouTube in March and features the characters of Game of Thrones in a modern high school setting.”

While we aren’t entirely sure how that works out regarding the rights to George R.R. Martin’s novel or the hit HBO TV show, you can expect to see some familiar faces. A full cast list has not yet been released, but so far here is what we know:

Theon – Joey Richter (of Starkid)
Sansa – Mary Kate Wiles (of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and Squaresville)
Stannis – Maxwell Glick (of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries)
Margaery – Whitney Milam
Melisandre – Marisha Ray
Loras – Matthew Boehm
Renly – Brendan Bradley
Robb – Nick Palatas

Filming has just begun on the web show, and Wiles tweeted a photo with Richter from the set.

It seems that the modern adaptation will be based around the race to win Prom Queen and King. The modern twist on “Winter is coming,” the popular tagline of Game of Thrones, has become “Prom Night Is Coming.” The first promotional image, featuring Mary Kate Wiles as Sansa Stark, has also been released.

You can find School of Thrones on YouTube and Twitter, although both accounts are currently inactive.
