Joe Jonas is making the leap from the music charts to the big screen.

According to Deadline, Jonas Brothers member Joe Jonas has officially signed on to join the cast of an upcoming war drama from director JD Dillard.

Titled Devotion, the forthcoming film is set during the Korean War, and is set to tell the story of two U.S. Navy fighter pilots named Jesse Brown and Tom Hunder. Though from two different worlds, the men form a bond after the two are initiated together into the VF-32 squadron where they find themselves flying a new design of fighter jet.

Things take a turn for the worse when one of the men is shot down behind enemy lines, and what transpires after proves to be a true test of their friendship.

For his part, Jonas is set to take on the role of a fighter pilot named Marty Good. The “Sucker” singer isn’t the only one who’s joined the cast of Devotion.

Others who’ve previously signed on to star in the war drama include John Wick’s Thomas Sadoski, who will play squadron leader Dick Cevoli, and The Good Fight’s Christina Jackson who will play female lead, Daisy Brown.

Jonas, Sadoski, and Jackson join previously announced cast members Jonathan Majors (Da 5 Bloods) and Glen Powell (Hidden Figures), who will lead the cast as Jessie Brown and Tom Hunder.

Behind the camera, the film features a script written by Jake Crane and Jonathan A. Stewart, which was adapted from a nook written by Adam Makos.

Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see Devotion hit the big screen.
