We are still waiting for Once Upon a Time to cast Ariel, and Joanna Garcia may just be the actress for the part!

As early as last year we reported Jennifer Morrison’s statement that Garcia, best known for her roles on Reba and Privileged, had been approached to join the show.

While nothing has yet come of this, E! Online has spoken to Garcia about the possibility, and the actress is all for it. She says:

That show is exceptional. Jennifer Morrison is one of my dearest friends. I would love to do the show. I just think the show is incredibly crafted and well-acted. The masterminds behind it are so extraordinary. I would love to do it. It’s on my wishlist!

E! is predicting that Garcia could play Ariel, the Little Mermaid, and we think that would be a pretty great fit!
