On Twitter Wednesday evening, Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling finally revealed her Patronus: A pine marten.

The revelation came after a fan of hers posed the question:

According to Wikipedia, a pine marten is a critter hailing from Northern Europe who is a part of the mustelid animal family, which also houses creatures like minks, otters (Hermione!), badgers (Hufflepuff!), wolverines, and weasels.

The animal was reportedly responsible for “reducing the population of the invasive grey squirrel in the U.K. and Ireland,” according to its wiki entry.

Here’s one more photo for you because AW:

In the Harry Potter series, the Patronus Charm is one of the most complex and powerful defensive spells a witch or wizard can perform. The Patronus takes the shape of a creature tied with the particular witch or wizard casting the spell. For example, Harry’s Patronus is a stag, Hermione’s is an otter, Ron’s is a Jack Russell, Ginny’s is a horse, Dumbledore’s is a phoenix, and Snape’s is a doe.

Want to know what your own Patronus is? Rowling also recently revealed that a quiz is coming to Pottermore:

We’re glad to see it’s in the pipeline, but honestly, it should’ve been released when Pottermore was debuting chapters from Prisoner of Azkaban.
