ABC’s Good Morning America has announced that J.K. Rowling will appear on their show Tuesday to discuss the 15th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
A specific time frame for when the interview will air was not provided, but Good Morning America runs from 7 – 9 a.m. eastern.
The purpose of Rowling’s interview is to promote the re-release of the Harry Potter books, which are hitting store shelves the same day. The entire series has new covers designed by Kazu Kibuishi. See all seven new covers here.
We will share video of the interview as soon as it’s online. We hope Rowling drops a fun new tidbit or two about the series for long-time Potter fans, but we’re not getting our hopes up just yet.
