CNN’s Christiane Amanpour has a new interview coming with J.K. Rowling to talk about the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter as well as her charity Lumos.
In a tweet and a promotional video, Christiane teases that Rowling has some sort of “surprise” for “fans.” In the commercial, the interviewer is seen saying to Rowling that “this is a J.K. Rowling scoop!” as the author laughs. Take a look:

Christiane doesn’t strike me as a diehard Harry Potter fan who would truly know what a genuine “surprise” would be, so I advise caution for now. Still, this is Rowling’s first televised interview in a while, so maybe she’ll use the opportunity to share some news. Perhaps she’ll tease a new book that she’s writing?
