On Monday night’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the late night talk show host and Mad Men’s Jon Hamm photobombed unsuspecting tourists in New York City.

Fallon says that tourists who visited Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center over the weekend were asked to pose for a photo to be used on the attraction’s website. What the tourists didn’t know was that in the background of their photo, Fallon and Hamm would jump out, make goofy faces, and share sandwiches with one another.

Hamm was also at Rockefeller Center this weekend for a surprise appearance during a sketch on Saturday Night Live in which he plays himself.

The actor will resume his role as Don Draper in Mad Men when season 7 premieres next month on AMC.

The Tonight Show airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. eastern/pacific on NBC.
