Irons is set to take on the role of Maurizio’s father, Rodolfo Gucci. The Emmy Award nominee is far from the only big name attached to star in the upcoming Ridley Scott (The Martian, Alien: Covenant) title.

Others who’ve also joined the cast include Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Jack Huston, and Reeve Carney. Also set to star in the true crime drama is Lady Gaga.

Gaga is set to play Patricia Reggiani. Reggiani is the ex-wife of the designer in question and was also convicted of orchestrating the hit after she learned that he had been having an affair.

Meanwhile, Driver will play Maurizio himself.

Joining Scott behind the camera is Roberto Bentivenga, who wrote the screenplay for the forthcoming drama.
