Jennifer Morrison is gearing up to return to the small screen in a new CBS drama.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Once Upon A Time star Jennifer Morrison has officially signed on to star in a brand new CBS pilot called Under the Bridge.

Morrison will be starring in the pilot as Caitlin Lancaster, a surgeon whose medical practice she was running with her husband and friends suddenly finds itself in the middle of a huge scandal.

In the midst of a self-imposed sabbatical, Caitlin finds herself forced to return to work following her husband getting voted out of the practice. From there, she must rise to the occasion and take the lead at work, all while trying to fix things with her marriage, and at the practice itself.

Morrison isn’t the only one who’s joined the cast of the medical drama. Joining her will be David Ajala, who was last seen on the short-lived sci-fi horror series Nightflyers.

Behind the scenes, Victoria Mahoney has been tapped to direct the pilot, while the script will be written by Everwood vet Rina Mimoun and Jerry Bruckheimer.

In addition to his co-writing duties, Bruckheimer will also be executive producing the show along with Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reed.

Jennifer Morrison isn’t the only OUAT vet gearing up to make their big return to television. Just last month we heard that Morrison’s fellow co-star Ginnifer Goodwin would be appearing in CBS’ highly anticipated Twilight Zone reboot.

There’s currently no word on when we can expect Under the Bridge to premiere on CBS.
