Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres show while promoting her new film What To Expect When You’re Expecting, Jennifer Lopez hinted that she may not return to American Idol next season.
“I really do enjoy it,” she started, after telling Ellen DeGeneres that she didn’t know what the future of “Idol” would hold. “Now this is my second year — I don’t know if I can go for a third year. I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down, which was nice the first year with the babies being three, but now they’re getting more mobile, they’re about to go into school… So I just don’t know.”
We told you yesterday that, due in part to lower ratings, Idol‘s producers are planning on reinvigorating the show next season. An easy fix to that would of course be a new judge(s).
