Yesterday we reported Jennifer Lopez directly saying she isn’t sure if she can do American Idol for a third year. Now, sources are saying that due to a busy schedule Jennifer Lopez is leaving American Idol after this season.
According to E! Online, a source close to the negotiations has said that Jennifer will be exiting the show after this season comes to an end. E! Online quotes the source as saying:
“She’s just too busy.”
Lopez will be embarking on a worldwide tour with Enrique Iglesias starting this summer and plans on touring through the fall and end of this year. The first round of Idol auditions begins while she is overseas.
A second source tells E! Online that Fox doesn’t want to let go of J.Lo
“Fox does not want to let her go. They love her.”
