Jennifer Lawrence is gearing up to make her grand return to the big screen.

If it feels as though it’s been a while since you’ve seen Jennifer Lawrence on the big screen, that’s because it has.

The Academy Award-winning actress took a year-long break from acting, but it looks like J Law plans to hit the ground running now that she’s back to it.

According to Deadline, Lawrence has officially lined up her next big screen role. She’ll be leading the cast of theater director Lila Neugebauer’s upcoming film.

Produced by IAC Films and A24, the untitled project marks Neugebauer’s feature directorial debut.

Though a script has been written by fellow newcomer Elizabeth Sanders, there’s currently no details with regards to what the plot will entail.

It looks as though we’ll all have to hang tight when it comes to finding out more about Lawrence’s mysterious new role.

The good news is, you won’t have to wait that much longer before you see the actress back on the big screen.

Though Lawrence took her leave from the lime light shortly after wrapping on Red Sparrow (2018) and Mother! (2017), you’ll actually be able to see her on the silver screen later this summer.

Lawrence will be reprising her role as the mutant Mystique in Dark Phoenix. The highly anticipated X-Men: First Class sequel is due out on June 7.
