Jennifer Lawrence hosted SNL last night with musical guest The Lumineers. Missed the show? Check out these highlights!

Jennifer Lawrence took the Saturday Night Live stage last night in the midst of her award season swing. Having recently won a Golden Globe and nominated for an Oscar, this was a subject for laughs last night. Lawrence has been under heat for her misinterpreted “I beat Meryl!” comment at the Golden Globes, and she attempted to clear this up during her monologue.

Lawrence revealed during the week that there would be no Hunger Games parody saying, “No, I retired my bow and arrow for this weekend.” It turns out that she was leading us on and that she only meant that she wouldn’t have her bow, not that she wouldn’t be playing Katniss. Well played, Lawrence.

Jennifer Lawrence hosting Saturday Night live was one of our most anticipated episodes of the year, and she even made our top 10 people who should host SNL back in October. Unfortunately, Lawrence didn’t have a lot to work with last night as the writing was sub-par. Lawrence did a fantastic job with what she was given, but we were left wanting much more.
