Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that she won’t parody her Hunger Games character Katniss Everdeen on SNL this weekend.

In an on-set interview concerning her SNL gig this weekend, Jennifer Lawrence said she will not be playing Katniss Everdeen. “No, I retired my bow and arrow for this weekend,” she said.

When asked if she has gotten any advice from her Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper, who has hosted Saturday Night Live before, she revealed that she didn’t get any advice from any of the Silver Linings Playbook cast. “No, they didn’t. They should’ve. They’ve just said it’s going to be the most amazing experience of my life, which they were right about.”

Lawrence went on to say how much fun this week had been while preparing for Saturday Night Live. “Oh my God, it’s been amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed this much in my entire life,” she said. “It’s just been incredible. It’s just amazing working with people — their job is just to be funny all day every day. You are in a room with some of the funniest people in the entire world.”

We are really looking forward to this week’s episode and we can’t wait to see what they have in store. As naturally, self-deprecatingly funny as Lawrence is, she is sure to do very well.
