The Jennifer Lawrence Foundation is hosting an early screening of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire to benefit a special disabilities organization in the actress’ hometown.

The screening will be held on Wednesday, November 20th (two days before the film opens in theaters in the United States). Tickets are now available for purchase and proceeds will benefit the St. Mary’s Center, which “serves over 150 adults and teens with intellectual disabilities from the Louisville Metro area,” according to their website. “We are in our 20th year of providing vocational, functional, academic and socialization training. In addition, we teach lifetime leisure skills and a vast array of sports activities.”

In a letter published on the benefit’s website on Monday, Lawrence says that she won’t be able to attend the early screening but speaks highly of the organization and why she became involved.

“From a young age I have held a special place in my heart for children and adults with Down Syndrome,” she writes. “When I Met Andy Strunk in the 6th grade, I knew I had met a very special guy as well as a lifelong friend.”

“My friendship with Andy has driven me to become involvement with organizations like St. Mary’s Center and the Special Olympics. I am so excited to announce that I have been named the official ambassador of the Special Olympics! I am looking forward to working with them.”
