At the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles where she won the Best Actress award for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, Jennifer Lawrence credited a television commercial for launching her career.

By starring in the commercial for MTV, Lawrence was given her Screen Actors Guild card, making her a part of the prestigious acting group that awarded her the Best Actress win tonight.

As you can see, the commercial was promoting MTV’s new show My Super Sweet 16. Lawrence was actually only 14 years old when she filmed the commercial, but she depicted someone two years older.
