It’s always nice to see when a star wants to be loyal to a movie’s source material, and unsurprisingly Jennifer Lawrence is exactly one of those people.

Footage shot by Canadian outlet ETV depicts Lawrence in Vancouver, Canada this week on a vacation reading the Mockingjay book by Suzanne Collins. She appears to be with boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.

We suspect that Lawrence has read the final book in Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games trilogy before, but is giving it a re-read to prepare for filming. 2012’s The Hunger Games was very well received by fans thanks to the very loyal screenplay and accurate depictions of the characters.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay is expected to start shooting later this year and will film Part 1 and Part 2 back-to-back.

Yesterday, Lionsgate announced the first casting addition for the franchise: Game of Thrones‘ Natalie Dorner will play Cressida. Additional casting announcements should arrive at a steady pace now that filming is about to get underway.

Mockingjay Part 1 opens in theaters November 21, 2014 and Mockingjay Part 2 opens November 20, 2015. Both will be directed by Francis Lawrence.

Meanwhile, Catching Fire hits theaters this November 22.
