Netflix has just acquired the rights to a new political comedy that’ll put Jennifer Aniston in the Oval Office.

According to Variety, Netflix has officially won the bidding war for Tig Notaro and Stephanie Allynne’s new political comedy, First Ladies.

The upcoming sit-com will feature Jennifer Aniston portraying Commander in Chief and the new series will tell the story of American’s first female president and her wife, First Lady Kasey Nicholson.

Notaro will play First Lady to Aniston’s President Beverly Nicholson in the new series which is based off of an original pitch submitted by Notaro and Allynne.

The short synopsis for the upcoming series reads as follows:

“When Beverly and Kasey Nicholson move into the White House, they’ll prove that behind every great woman…is another great woman.”

In addition to co-starring in the political comedy, Aniston will also serve as a producer for First Ladies along series creators Notaro and Allynne. Other producers on the series include Adam McKay, Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Betsy Koch. Meanwhile, Chris Henchy will serve as executive producer for the show.
